Welcome to a special edition of Where are they Wednesday. This past week a group of the Dragonfly Aviation team went to the final National Championship Air Races in Reno Nevada! We had an awesome week full of aviation races, demos, displays and more. Stay tuned for more photos and videos from our aviation filled adventure!
Something a little different for maintenance Monday today: how our top notch maintenance team keeps our engines running smoothly. Spark plugs are a vital part of the ignition system and carbon buildup and wear can cause rough running conditions and/or high mag drops. Here’s how we service them every 100 hours. 🔧
He’s so new we haven’t yet had time to do a full interview - meet Joe H., the newest member of the Dragonfly Aviation team! While he’s new to us, he’s not new to instructing, and we are excited to have him. Joe is a CFI/CFII, so if you’ve been trying to find a spot on the schedule for an instrument or commercial lesson, or to finish up your private, Joe’s your guy. Let’s give him a big Dragonfly welcome by filling up his schedule!
Side note: You’ll see that our schedule is blocked off September 12-18. We’re going on a company outing to the Reno Air Races, so look for lots of cool photos coming soon. We’ll be back and better than ever on September 19.
Welcome back to another Meet the Team Tuesday - This week we are getting to know Kyle! Kyle got his private license and his instrument rating in Oregon before moving to Georgia and beginning training at Dragonfly Aviation in October of 2022. Kyle completed his Commercial and CFI with us and officially joined the Dragonfly team as one of our newest CFI’s in June of this year! We are thrilled to have Kyle as a part of our team and stay tuned for even more additions to the Dragonfly team in the near future.
Sadly for us, it is another Farewell Friday here at Dragonfly Aviation. This week we bid adieu to Fez F. Fez started his training with us in 2018 and has been an amazing CFI with us since June 2022. Fez has accomplished his aviation goal and is continuing his aviation journey flying with an airline! His last day with us was August 17th and while we are sad to see him leave we are excited for his next adventure. We are so proud of Fez and are going to miss him dearly here at Dragonfly Aviation!
Welcome to another Wing View Wednesday! One of the many advantages of flight are the views out the window. 🌅 Be sure to send us your own wing view photos to be featured in the next Wing View Wednesday!
