UPSET PREVENTION AND RECOVERY TRAINING
Loss of control in flight is one of the leading causes of aviation mishaps. Our mission is to help all levels of pilot understand what causes different unusual attitudes, spatial disorientation, as well how to recover from an upset both visually and with reference to the instruments. While upset recovery training is highly recommended for Part 121, 135, and 91 corporate pilots, UPRT can be beneficial for anyone from senior captains to someone in flight training.
Our Upset Prevention and Recovery Training Course spans two days and is geared toward both the professional and the recreational pilot. The course is taught by our Training Director and Owner Jon Lambeth, and includes ground instruction and flights in our Game Aerospace GB1 GameBird. Although the GB1 is a light, nimble aircraft, we can fly it in such a way that we can imitate the flight characteristics of almost any business jet or piston aircraft on the market.
This course is available for $4,000 for one person, or $7,000 for two people. This includes the aforementioned ground and flights, airport transfers from ATL, crew car for two people, and accommodations. Cost is split between a $500/person non-refundable but transferable deposit and a final payment due upon arrival for training. Once the deposit is paid, your spot is confirmed.
Corporate flight departments are welcome, call for special rates and customized courses. We can even travel to you.
